Each of us receives a pawn and puts it on the field with the dwarf. |

The jewel track shows the number of jewels that each player owns. At the beginning of the game, each player has 12 jewels, so each player places their jewel cube on the “12” space of the track. |

Each player puts his scoring disks on the start field on the scoring track. The scoring disks keep track of our victory points. |

The rules state that you start on the question mark field. However, if you wish, you can vary the starting field. This starting field has been chosen for demo purposes. |
